William (Bill) Miller, DVM, Diplomate ACVO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Animal Emergency & Referral Center in Flowood, Mississippi.
Dr. William (Bill) Miller is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. He completed his undergraduate (poultry science major) and graduate studies at Louisiana State University and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.
After earning his DVM, he completed an internship in small animal surgery and medicine and a residency in ophthalmology at Auburn University from 1982 to 1986, with Dr. Ted Albert as his mentor.
In 1986 he earned his Master of Science degree from Auburn and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO).
Dr. Miller has been a member of the ACVO’s Public Relations committee since 2006 and the chair for more than four years.
His current research interests include corneal physiology and corneal wound healing. In his spare time, he enjoys running, gardening, and bow hunting elk.
