Katie Letcher, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Arkansas Veterinary Emergency & Specialists in Little Rock.
Dr. Katie Letcher was born and raised in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She grew up on a horse farm and has been working in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She attended Colorado State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from CSU in 2014.
Following veterinary school she practiced at an emergency and specialty hospital outside of Denver, Colorado. She moved to Arkansas in 2015 and spent the next several years in general practice prior to coming to AVES to focus on her passion for emergency medicine.
She attended the CHI University for acupuncture training on horses and small animals in 2019. Dr. Letcher spends her free time with her husband, horses, mini donkeys, 2 dogs and 8 cats on her farm.
